The accounting studies program was established in 1992. From 2000 up until today, the course has maintained an ‘A’ accreditation status from the National Accreditation Board. The Department continuously strives to improve the quality of its graduates based on professionalism and the needs of the dynamic business world.
Starting in the academic year 2005/2006, evening classes were opened to high school/vocational school graduates and for graduates of the diploma program in Accounting who wanted to proceed to an undergraduate level.
MORNING CLASSES are held on campus I, that is the Jl. Pawiyatan Luhur, Bendan Duwur, campus. Class times are Monday- Saturday 7:30 am until 4:30 pm.
EVENING CLASSES are held on campus II, on Jl. Menteri Supeno 35. Class times are Monday-Friday 5:30-8:00 pm and on Saturday 1:30-8:00 pm.
The curriculum is designed to produce graduate swith the intellectual, communication and interpersonal skills required for the workplace as well as a social and environmentally considerate outlook. There are four concentration streams: financial accounting with a focus on the capital market; accounting management with a focus on financial planning; information systems with a focus on system and analysis; and auditing with a focus on fraud and forensic audits. Therefore our graduates have the competencies required for the working world.
Alumni have spread all across Indonesia with some even working overseas. Most alumni have entered the professional world as financial accountants, public accountants, management accountants, government accountants, system analysts, internal auditors, system analysis and design.

All faculty members possess a minimum of a Masters qualification.
Two have already obtained their PhD and a further 4 are in the process. Lecturers are active in research activities and community service with funding coming from both internal sources and from the Directorate General of Higher Education, the Department of Education and the Coordination of
Private Universities (Kopertis) Region V.
