Tax is one of the biggest income generators in Indonesia. The Indonesian government depends heavily on income from taxes. The policy of regional autonomy supports the efforts of the local government to find revenues, especially those from taxes and retributions, to fund the development of regional and local infrastructure. The important role of taxes and retributions in supporting the local, regional, and national development necessitates the improvement of regulations, policies, and taxation systems.
Soegijapranata Catholic University, as a higher education, is called upon to actively participate in the national development by providing excellent education for Indonesian nationals in the field of taxation. We provide excellent education for the talented young generations, so that they can eventually become reliable and professional taxation experts.
